The brand wanted to extend the experience of his Gucci Museo in a dedicated website that includes information on the history of the house and images mall security of the exhibitions hosted by the museum. With this separate website and the main commercial site of Gucci, the brand seeks to create a unique place to make know more about the history and heritage of its workshops.
The website serves as a portal to this universal museum gives visitors from around the world the opportunity to explore and discover the museum without having to visit the physical location in Florence, Italy.
Gucci opened his museum in Florence in 2011 as part of the 90th anniversary of the brand. In addition to a collection of permanent archives of the brand and of the house, the Gucci museum hosts contemporary art exhibitions mall security funded by the Pinault Foundation.
The current museum, located in the Palazzo della Mercanzia (1337), Piazza Signoria in Florence, was born of the imagination of the creative director of Gucci, Frida Giannini.
