Mr. Duncan the country store Taylor CBE has been appointed by the UK government as the new ambassador of her Britannic Majesty in succession Mexico Judith Macgregor Lady CMG LVO. Macgregor Ambassador will be transferred to another assignment within the Foreign Service. Mr. Taylor will serve around the month of September 2013.
Mr. Taylor entered the country store the British Foreign Service in 1982 and is currently the Governor of the Cayman Islands, a British overseas territory. He has worked in various positions within the foreign service, which included leading Japanese section and the head of Consular Service. He has served as British High Commissioner to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, worked in Havana, Budapest and New York. Before joining the Foreign Service, Mr. Taylor worked at Gulf Oil (GB) for two years. He also spent a year with the company Rolls Royce working as Director for Latin American Affairs.
