Newcastle is easily woollies accessible by plane and thus an eminently good to go. Weekend We tested the easiness of this last trip itself, more about that can be found in this visual diary. The city is located in the North of England, near the coast, and is especially known for her impressed bridges, night culture and of course Newcastle woollies United. We gathered the best tips for Newcastle!
The real shop freaks can not put their hearts into this indoor shopping center, consisting of as many as 140 stores. The shops are affordable and focused on fashion and shoes. For example, you'll find there Topshop, New Look, Dorothy Perkins and Kurt Geiger, as well as eateries and electronics stores. Either: You are in Eldon Square for hours.
This is the main shopping street in Newcastle, where megastores of any kind to be found. Example, there is a giant Primark, Boots drugstore, department store Fenwick and Marks & Spencer.
Earl Grey - except a tea - the name of the former prime minister of Great Britain. The monument of this man is a central point of the city, where every place leads to back. Nice point to possibly speak to each other off if you have lost ;-)
This market is a well-known piece of history woollies of the city, and offers numerous woollies stalls that often have nothing to do with each other. You'll find a lot of meat (think full pigs) and fresh fish, as well as computer games, woollies cupcakes and cheap socks. More info here.
This is the highlight of your shop experience and takes just a bus ride from fifteen minutes to get here. In Metro Centre woollies are as many as 330 shops located, including department stores Debenhams, House of Fraser and Marks & Spencer. There are themed areas with smaller shops, plenty woollies of maps, a movie theater, over 50 restaurants and even an indoor amusement park. The shops are open until the evening, and also on Sunday.
The thing that Newcastle gives her own face, the bridges over the River Tyne. The (short) walk along this river is definitely worth it, because it sums up all the beautiful woollies things of the city. The main bridge is the Millennium Bridge, which opened in 2001. The bridge opens and closes like a real eyelid to let ships through, woollies and is a marvel of architecture. Perfect for beautiful pictures! woollies
In contrast to the Baltic, this museum is a place to go into the history. In the Discovery Museum contains historical objects, maritime themes and Turbinia, woollies the fastest ship in 1897 on Earth.
SIX restaurant is located on the sixth floor of the Baltic Museum, and offers an amazing woollies view of the entire city through glass walls. SIX is a place for culinary delights with prices averaging 15 to 25 for a main course.
Our lunch at the Italian Cafe Panis was so delicious that it's worth a mention! When you get Panis simple Italian cuisine, in an otherwise reasonable simple environment, but the dishes are so good and freshly prepared, it is a must to have lunch here. A great card and above all very budget friendly with many dishes from around 5.
Itself, we really enjoyed our stay at Jesmond Dene House Hotel. This hotel is located about fifteen minutes from the city center, but is accessible by a taxi. Jesmond Dene is a unique hotel, with warm, authentic furniture and is a listed building, so no one room is the same. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful woollies and the hotel itself is a bar and restaurant. Prices from 65.
Newcastle is most easily reached by plane and the flight from Schiphol takes only an hour. Easyjet flies since December 13, 2012 daily from and to Newcastle, with prices starting from 24 per one way flight, and is an ideal way to reach the city!
